Hi !

I recently bought the Wolfenstein serie on GOG to have this marvelous license DRM-free and I would like to play it again.

Unfortunately, Galaxy achievements don't seem to unlock on The Old Blood nor The New Order.

Does someone know how to resolve this problem or if this is a known developer issue ?

Hey, unfortunately I do not have the answer to the problem, rather I have the same issue: Non of the achievements can be unlocked on GOG.

What I noticed though, is that I cannot enable the ingame overlay (or disable it for that matter, its greyed out). I have the sneaking suspicion that this could be related to the issue.

Maybe someone has an idea?

Started today playing Wolfenstein New Order and Galaxy achievements don't unlock for me. So, this problem is still present in current Galaxy version.

Mine is weirder i got some achievements but later in the game they won't even pop up now.

Same thing here. No achievements and not Galaxy overlay.

According to https://www.gog.com/forum/general/list_of_broken_gog_achievements?search=wolfenstein you can try a rollback if using Galaxy, but may then encounter memory leak problems.

I'd love to see the problem fixed, but as I don't have the game yet I can't test for it. As for Old Blood, maybe you have a particularly stringent firewall or antivirus? They might be blocking the achievements. A shame Bethesda hasn't fixed the problem after all this time, let us know if doing the rollback works!

The rollback didn't work. I've opened a ticket on GOG Support. I hope they can do something about it.
It seems that the game didn't communicate anymore with GOG Galaxy in any way cuz we don't have an overlay for it.

It's very strange that even with the rollback the achievements aren't unlocked, have you tried checking for antivirus and firewalls? Also there are already some games without overlays that have the achievements anyway. The two functions aren't related, the only difference is that the achievements pop-ups don't appear in real time.

Anyway let's see what GOG says, hopefully they can fix it, we'll probably have to wait until after the holidays.

At least in The Old Blood I could unlock the first achievements this way:

To summarize:
I had old save games from the Steam version of the game lying around my harddrive.

1) Go to "C:\Users\#name\SavedGames\MachineGames"
2) Delete the Old Blood (and New Order) folders.
3) Make sure GOG does not automatically download saves from the cloud again.

The overlay is still not functional, but it seems I can unlock achievements now.
