For the sake of completeness, here is the full list of all Wizardry games. If for some reason you can't recognize the name of the game in the list, most likely it was never released outside of Japan (who doesn't know, Wizardry series migrated there). Elminage is included, because it is faithful Wizradry game, which isn't named Wizardry because of some trademark issues. Wizards & Warriors are also included, because of similar trademark issues.

It is probably worth noting what company made them. I consider the ones by Sir-Tech to be the main series and the others are spin-offs in a sense.

Wizardry 1 through 4 were ported to the PC Engine, but those versions had no English option (and don't even think of playing Wizardry 4 in Japanese).

Wizardry V, VI and VII had versions for the FM Towns in Japan. I know V had an English option, and V and VI had red book audio (orchestral music). Wizardry VII was apparently the same as the Japanese DOS version.

For Wizardry VII, the DOS and Windows versions are different and should be listed separately. I believe the Windows version had a bug that broke negotiation with NPCs.

Wizardry Gaiden 1-3 were for the original Game Boy, not the Game Boy Color. On the other hand, Wizardry 1-3 for GBC were actually Game Boy Color only. (Try it on a monochrome Game Boy and you get a picture of a Murphy's Ghost and some Japanese text.)

I read that Wizardry Asterisk has a main character who is forced into the party. Very un-Wizardrylike.

Elminage Gothic is also a somewhat unusual case. The PSP and 3DS version are only in Japanese, while the PC version is (aside from the occasional line the translators missed) only in English.

One Wizardry fangame you missed is Wizardry: The Shooting. You can find videos of it on Youtube: it's a shmup, not an RPG. It was apparently created using some Sega Saturn "game" that allows the creation of shmups.

I thought to include developers, but then decided, it would be just too much of a mess. Also looks like Sir-Tech developed Wzardry Gaiden II, III (but not 1st one?), at least that's what Gamefaqs show, so... Wizardry 8, although it is made by Sir-Tech, is so different from first games, that it feels more like spin-off.

Edited to add TurboGrafx-16 (that's how Gamefaqs call this exotic console).

Yeah, FMT stand for FM Towns, I thought to include what abbreviations stand for, but reconsidered.

In this case need to point Windows release for first 3 Wizardries (Llylgamyn Saga compilation), Ultimate Wizardry Archives and re-release of Wizardry V on SNES (BS Wizardry V, what was even the difference?). And Wizardry remakes for Windows were all very bad, I think it is safe to disregard them entirely :)

Yeah, Gaiden was for GB, fixed.

Well, various Wizardry games have their own deviations. For example, "Tales of the Forsaken Land" has entirely different stat system and story-driven approach (can't just make party and go to dungeon, not from very start at least, seems you need to use premade characters for some time). You also can't choose advanced class from the start.

Going to list it (non-numbered like MMOs which I don't consider true Wizardry games, especially newer one).
you could probably link to the hg101 article since it has a lot of screenshots, including some of the Japanese ports or spinoffs using the license.

the whole thing with the Wizardry Xth branch is pretty weird. From what I understand, the developers ended up going to Experience (Labyrinth Cross Blood, Students of the Round, Demon Gaze) and continuing the series without the Wizardry license as Generation Xth. Which the three games (Code Hazard, Code Breaker, and Code Realize) were recently remade as Operation Abyss: New Tokyo Legacy and Operation Babel. Meanwhile, Wizardry Xth 2 apparently got reskinned as the first Class of Heroes by zerodiv

Buuuuuuut, I don't really know for certain about that since I'm not in the import scene or anything like that, it's just what I've heard online though.

I used that site, as well as Gamefaqs, Wikipedia, Zimlab and various forum boards to compile that list, though I agree, that site is the most informative in this case. I'd like to point Zimlab especially so, as it has Oubliette (and site's owner is apparently the maker of one of the Wizardry I unofficial scenarios).

As I know, Class of Heroes was inspired by Wizardry X 1/2 and was made by some of the same developers (team was split after making Wizradry X vgames), but it wasn't reskinned version of Wizardry X-2. It is a bit hard to say anything about Generation Xth games, they never made it out of Japan. Putting all Wizardry-likes in this list would be the task most impossible, so I pointed only those which are truly Wziardry in name with licensed trademark (with Elminage being exception for the reasons I wrote).
Yeah, it's understandable.
