I'm not sure if GOG's version has this already fixed, but Privateer and DOSBox are notorious for having a rocky relationship. Whenever a player has a joystick or uses the mouse for control scheme, the pointer will gradually move towards the bottom-right of the screen. Seeing that moving the crosshair is rather important in this game, it would be imperative to fix it.

On the WC CIC forums, there is a solution. Download the file in post #5 and rename the extension to .DAT.

Hello, this solution doesn't works :
Without this fix the cursor go to the upper left of the screen, and with this fix it go to the bottom right.

Thanks! This worked for me. I just had to re calibrate the joystick in game after changing the cycle rate.

Fixed how? Sorry but I don't understand the fix Vagabond posted regarding setting the cycles to 6500.
