Annoying problem, but having just installed Way of the Samurai 4 and looking forward to playing, whenever I select "New Game" in the options menu, the game immediately crashes to desktop. This is installed on Windows 10, so I wouldn't be surprised if that has something to do with it.

Either way, interested to know if anyone else has had this problem and/or have any solutions.

Problem solved. CTD happens when 1920x1080 resolution is chosen with fullscreen. Using windowed option the game doesn't CTD.

Yea I have the exact same issue right now I'll let you know if I find a fix.

Run the game in Windows 7 compatibility mode - this fixed the fullscreen issues for me. The game runs fullscreen 1080p with no issues on Windows 10 pro.
