Mascot: If you haven't already, I strongly suggest backing up your savegame before trying to run the latest patch. On my system, it starts fine the first time, then wipes out the save and is unable to even save fresh progress after that point. I can restore my save and it will load it, but only that first time.

It seems a bit like they changed their savegame system and royally messed it up. Where savegames used to be, I now get a new Account_<bunch of numbers> folder ever time I run the game.

Update: If you have savegame backups, or have updated but not yet run the game after the patch, the Galaxy client has the option to select which game version you want to run (in manage installation - configure). I downgraded to 1.0c and restored my pre-update savegame and am playing fine on the old version.

I´m having real trouble running the game, because each time that I start it all my progress from the previous session is erased and i`m sent to the very beginning , to the introductory history when you have everythink blocked and you need to collect the keys of the house. The program behaves as if my profile is erased and reinitiated each time that I start the game..

I see here that many are able to run the game beyond this point...¿someone knows any workaround that would restore the savegame? A backup doesn´t seem to work because the program erases whatever is in my progress as soon as I start the game. And this happens both with the syccro to gog Galaxy or without it....
