Sufyan: You mentioned 2.2, which is the hotfix. I understood this to be that you do not have 2.1 in your library. If you have the base game installed properly, you should just get 2.1.

If scrubbing the game clean off your computer, re-downloading the game installer (and make sure that the file is not corrupt, it IS a large download with plenty of time for things to go wrong), install, then apply 2.1... and it still won't work... only then would I say you have done everything possible to patch the game to the latest version without success.
He has the Mac version. From what I've seen, there appear to be issues with the patch and Mac versions. Not sure if GOG has it sorted out yet.

JudasIscariot: Hi all,

We've uploaded the Windows and Mac patch 2.2 hotfixes and yes, there's another entire Linux tarball. Yes, we know it's a pain and we are working on streamlining the Linux patching process but I don't have an ETA on that right now, sorry :(

Here are the following file names that you should have in order to ensure you have the latest version of the game:

patch_wasteland2_2.3.0.12.exe for Windows (labelled as Patch 2.2 (hotfix for patch 2.1) on your game shelf.)

patch_wasteland2_2.0.2.4.pkg for Mac users (labelled as Wasteland 2 patch 2.2 (hotfix) on your game shelf)

For Linux the latest version of the tarball is gog_wasteland_2_1.3.0.7.tar.gz.

I'm using the Windows version. A few things in my end:

- I saw the patches only today because I looked it up here, Wasteland 2 was never flagged as updated here.
- It says in this thread Windows users should see only a patch labeled 2.2. There were actually two new patches (comparing to what I had downloaded before), one called 2.1 (patch_wasteland2_2.2.0.11.exe) and one called 2.2 (2.1 hotfix) (patch_wasteland2_2.3.0.12.exe). I'm assuming I missed some forum thread. Moving on...
- Patch 2.1 is 1GB+, patch 2.2 is ~10MB. Just wanted to mention both updates print the same text on the screen saying "this update requires 10MB of disk space to install". Perhaps intended, I don't know.
- Patch 2.2, after finished has button "Launch game". Here it closed installer and game didn't launch (at least not for a couple minutes). Game normally will take only a few seconds to launch. I was able to launch it manually though.

+1 for working on the linux patching process, very much appreciated!
Regarding the failure of the Macintosh updates to install, this thread (near the end of the second page) may be of some use. In my pre-patch installation there was a file missing (called CodeResources). Once replaced I was able to apply both the 2.2 patch and the 2.2 hotfix successfully. Gog reports they'll be updating the Mac patches to resolve the problem.

One or both of the patches broke my game. There is a part at the Ag Center where you go through the five fans. Unlock the door on the right at the East Wing, turn the fans off, and then go through the first three fans to the door in the middle to close it and such and do continue with the game. However my problem is my characters refuse to go through the third fan. They go through the first two fans but if you click past the third fan when it's off they go back into the room where you turn the three fans off and continuously run at the door you can't open at where the third switch is for the third fan. They huddle in a corner and I can't get past it.

I'd send you the save but GoG won't let me send it "Cause it's not the right file format" :/
