Having an issue with Battlecry 3 that has never happened before. I've had it running on this computer before on the same setup, since I reinstalled my OS I wanted to get Warlords again and installed it back onto my computer.

Everytime I load it, the screen flickers and the menu shows briefly, before resetting the display, then black screens and resetting display for a moment, then black screen and only music playing.

It then takes a minute or two to respond to me opening task manager to close it off.

Anyone know how I can fix this stupid bug?

Sounds like a resolution problem. Maybe try setting your desktop computer resolution to 800x600 before entering the game might fix it?

What is your version of Windows it is more than likely a compatibility issue as Warlords Battlecry III doesn't work on other versions other than XP very well. You need to run the game on Windows XP II Edition mode for it to work properly. I can not comment on Windows 8 as I don't have that , Windows 7 you need to right click on icon and run compatibility wizard and select Windows XP as the mode. This may not always work though as I discovered depending on the version of Windows 7. The home edition doesn't support everything in this mode but it's still worth a try.
Hope This Helps.

It was already set as compatability mode, when I turned it off to see if it would work I managed to get an error...

Display Driver 337.88 has stopped working and has recovered

Edit : I have fixed the problem. When I saw that the driver was breaking I wondered if it was because of shadowplay, but it was not... Instead I turned off the FPS counter in the Nvidia Experience and it worked perfect with Shadowplay still enabled
