Cntl doesn't work and dragging a square doesn't work. I vaguely recall playing the original CD version you could select multipul units. but not here, how do you do it?

There are two ways to select multiple units, either hold the left crtl button while also clicking and draging the left mouse button (you also need to hold it otherwise you'll just select either no units or only one) or just use the shift key (I think either will work but the left one will be easier to reach) and then just select what units you want. Pretty easy as well as standard in most RTS games.

just answer the question
and no it is a question of "easy" or "hard" it is a question of simply lacking the knowledge. and no it is not "standard" in most RTS games. the standard is simply dragging the mouse while holding the L-click button or cntl and select hieghlight. why are people so rude thee days?
I simply didn't know it was "shift" instead of cntrl

Are you saying I was being rude? I'm sorry if it came off as that but I did answer the question. Either hold the left ctrl button then click and drag with the left mouse button OR use the shift button then click the units you want to select. Either way works.

Wow.... This was a perfectly decent reply *and* he answered your question perfectly. Maybe you need to look again and see who's rude.

@RTSfan101: thanks! I could not figure out how to multi-select.

This helped, thanks.
