So, I have a Windows 7 (64) machine, and ye wife has an XP machine. When we fire up the game, hit Multiplayer and hit LAN, we can 'see' each other in the LAN room. When one of us starts the game, the other one can't actually connect to the game.
Any ideas on where to start troubleshooting this?

Also, make sure you're using the version of Hamachi listed in the article, newer versions can cause exactly the issue you're describing.
