Does anyone know a way to open all doors in a level or something like that as a cheat because that might circumvent the situation.
Don't you have a 'Walk the Abyss' scroll to get you out of there ? You could always use the portal on your Haven to get back, maybe that will unlock the door.
Thanks for that info!

I had no idea what the walk the abyss was since there was no explanation as to what it did on the scroll. Ill have to get more of those.
I've had the very same problem as OP the first time I played this game.
Then I restarted and paid more attention to what stats I wanted to develop and killed him in one go, only losing one party member to stupor (who I revived directly afterwards).

If I recall correctly (I might not, it's been a while) he does area of effect attacks, so don't have all your characters attack from the front.

EDIT: Late to the party I see

You might want to know, that discipline Walk The Abyss is a part of Common section and is available for your character.
I recommend taking a look here (menu on the right side).

I'm not sure I'm following; I've played the game dozens of times but always used scrolls - are you saying that it can be used as a regular discipline?

Sure - Walk the Abyss is a common discipline (available for every vampire in Redemption). To get it you need a minimum of 25 points of Intelligence and 25 points of Wits, plus you have to train yourself in all disciplines from Common section (at least one level of every discipline). The last one (7th in a row) is Walk the Abyss. It does cost 10 blood to cast, but it's still much cheaper than scrolls (blood is basically walking the streets, right? ;-) ).

That's why I encourage other people to take a look at the Vampire The Masquerade Redemption site at GameBanshee. There you can find description of all the disciplines, along with their requirements, not to mention the equipment database and a complete walkthrough.

Interesting; guess I never really mastered the interface. Thanks. Guess I'll have to dust off this game yet again. I'm betting I didn't train in one so stopped the progression. I've never seen walk the abyss in the common traits area.
youp cool I mean whatever...

yes he was wery tough. Use celerity and blood duff (or something like that) or combination and one time you'll be lucky :-)

mto
weird, when i fought him i pwned him so hard. he got through half my hp, then i went frenzy, and struck him down like nothing
