wesp5: There was a problem with The Patches Scrolls when they updated to the final 9.9 just in time for Christmas :)...

Additional changelog for 9.9 final from 22.12.2017:
+Changed Close to the Beast history because of wolf warform issues.
Added Windows 10 mouse fix to Extras, thanks to Dusk of Oolacile.
much obliged.
Stupid question about installing since I just starting trying the game and mod. When selecting components there's options for No new audio, No new particles, No new graphics, and No new Disciplines. Selecting these will then NOT include the new stuff when installing the patch? If I want all everything offered by the patch then I should click Plus Patch and then untick all the No new options?

Correct, if you want everything just click on "plus patch" and nothing else.

TBH this confused me as well, especially since IIRC each "no" option actually increases the installation size (according to the installer). Seems like a strange way to word things in an installer - I would have preferred it working the opposite way (i.e. state "New audio", "New particles", etc. and have all of those enabled by default).

Hm, maybe this can be done from the installer side of things. Right now the current setup is easier to do though...

I guess one of the things that made it more confusing was the fact that choosing the "No new..." options appears to actually increase the installation size, according to the installer (IIRC). Which is strange as surely not installing new stuff should mean there's less to install, not more? Though I guess it's probably adding the "old" stuff to the "unofficial" directory while still keeping the "new" stuff around (just unused)?

Actually the old stuff overwrites the new one, but the installer software doesn`t recognize this...
Happy new year pal and thanks a lot for the "Christmas present" (referring to your patch)! Much love!

When will GOG update the game with this version? (And yes of course I will just install it myself)

Manually updating from patches scrolls de is the best solution! Also, this way, you can setup the patch yourself, choosing manually the features of your choice!

Since the GOG release already uses this patch, I think that GOG should keep it up-to-date.

Try to contact support. Maybe it will speed up the updating process.
wow, most excellent. I may have to crank this up and run another playthru, I miss funky dancing in bars with all the kool kats

thanks!
Where can we donate to you for your hard work on these patches?

No donation necessary ;). But maybe you should contact GOG and ask them to update with the latest patches. Maybe if enough people do that, they will react...
