I thought of doing my part for this game, since i play it excessively right now, with the plus patch. I run into a number of issues, both old and new. I will list those i remember readily, so as to make easier the work of the patcher.

a. Sometimes, people stuck in place with a walking body stance, but completely immobile, like "frozen in time". They start moving only when you get close to them.
b. The old "teleporting" of people fast forward, still happens, even if rarely...
c. Sometimes, the sewer lids stuck, you hear their using noise but you don't change map. It is resolved by save/load.
d. Shadows remain in place even after someone's death or departure. Rarely on the "soft" setting, but very frequently for "complex" one.
e. In downtown, sometimes pedestrians get stuck together in pair of two, with walking animation but stuck in place and actually immobile. Sometimes they even do some strange moves like driving a car or something (happened to me once with a purple suit pedestrian stuck behind someone like Paul).
f. The old "sink in the ground" still exists, especially in Giovanni garden and monastery ground. Very nasty, this one...
g. Humanity loss below your current minimum, by killing innocents in combat maps (i know quest choices are supposed to drop humanity below minimum, though).
h. Something with Pisha's dialogue? Have to talk to her twice to get the quest, after sending the human down in. Same lines, too.
i. Andrei lacking voiceover for dialogue in atrium (when you choose to join them)? Or is as intended?

And a question... I blew Masquerade and hunters started popping around. Instead of the good old "highlander-like" model, though, a strange hooded woman appeared. And as a noob even, i did her in almost effortlessly, wih mere punches and brawl skill of 1, plus UNBUFFED. Is that normal? I think hunters were challenging, back in the day...

PS Needless to say, the Skyline aparments is a serious, huge mess, like always and since forever. Also, a similar mess with camels spawning around Caine (taxi driver), in museum entrance novelty map, happened.

All of this are random bugs that I don't think we will be able to fix.

This might be fixable at least for cutscenes if you tell me where it happens.

I don't even know what you mean by this!

This will be fixed in the 9.8 UP :)!

Can you post what exactly she was saying when this happened?

No. He doesn't say much, but what he says should be fully voiced!

I have no idea who she could be. The hunter female is a redhead with a pony tail! Do you have other mods installed?

The Skyeline bug should be finally fixed in 9.8, but I never heard about the museum issue before...
d. Downtown, mostly, the cauldron of (graphical) bugs. Alleyways mostly. Especially after the infighting between the street thugs (or 1-2 peeps i killed myself while feeding). I think it was in another area too, but i can't remember if it was Santa Monica or Hollywood (chinatown seems clean).

f. While fighting on the monastery grounds, from the main entrance to the left (straight down from the left sharpshooter's post on building roof), or the giovanni garden, again to the left of the main entrance... Sometimes, the player "drops inside the ground" and gets stuck in it. You walk slowly, you can jump but not high enough to climb back up and you can escape that graphical glitch with much difficulty, unless you are attacked, especially from a melee attacker. If you are in range to feed on someone, you can immediately "escape". Something like "swimming inside the ground", of sorts. It was extremely frequent in old, 1.2, too!

h. Unfortunately, i don't rememeber... But i had to talk to her twice and most importanly, to hit her with the exact same lines, in order for the quest log to list her quest. But i first sent down to her both Patty and Milligan, then went to have a talk with her (i don't think this caused the issue, though and i am not even certain that this is an issue, at all)...

i. Damn, my Andrei talk in Atrium was completely mute! Only the letters were visible in dialogue!

About the hunter, no, i have only the GOG installation, on top of which i only put your plus patch! Maybe her hair were so ugly, that i mistook it for a hood, then...? But i think the masquerade-broken summoned hunters, were like those in Ash's club entrance? Or i am mistaken?

Last but not least, yeah, i got spooked too myself. Like the Skyeline spawns items in place of door handles or scatter them and litter around, the musem entrance spawned camels all around and the taxi driver, was among some camels, instead of his taxi... I initially thought it was my Malkavian hallucinating, though, lol! But camels as door handles, are clearly something that not even the sick mind of a Malkavian can spawn! :P

If this happens with random enemy shadows, I can't fix it. I dislike the whole body-disappering effect anyway...

Actually I don't know as I never do this ;). But there are three types of hunters in the game, the highlander guy with the katana on his back who is the hardest, a heavier guy with shoulder holsters and a female with red hair and pony tail who is the weakest.

But camels as door handles, are clearly something that not even the sick mind of a Malkavian can spawn! :P
Weird! Do you play long sessions like several hours in one go? Because this seems to be the cause of the Skyeline bug and I solved it by recompiling the map which worked for my beta tester up to the three hours which he tested. As the museum map is already recompiled this won't work there...
Swimming in the ground... It can happen either when you sneak around trying to get to someone (to assassinate), or during combat. In the old 1.2, it was a frequent nasty thing to happen to you... Strangely though, only in those two places i have witnessed this happening (leopold and giovanni outdoors). With your patch, it happened only once in like 5 playthroughs. Extremely rare to happen.

Yes, i usually sit for quite a few hours straight. Besides Skyeline itself, though, other things happen Downtown, sometimes the sky gets glitched and random junk spawns in the streets. But that is still better in your patch, in the old days it happened all the time, to the point that all downtown visits ended in continuous save/load loops (your downtown haven pc can become temporarily unusable too, if such graphical glitches are active and the elevator's buttons get messed). "Downtown is a mess, always been", as Mercurio says, but for the player, it is for the graphical glitches part, i bet! The camels at museum made me lol hard, initially i thought my Malk hallucinated or something... Then i thought it was some erroneously spawned random junk... Caine among camels, though, strangely seemed so legit...

I 've had it happen to me several times so I knew exactly what you were talking about. I'm not sure how wide spread it is though as I'd think Wesp5 would've heard about it by now. I figured it was likely something in my computer.

This game seems to feed on crazy. I saw a big grinning face in the sky above the beach on one occasion and, no, I wasn't on drugs or drunk at the time. :)

While I didn't know about the swimming issue before, it's probably caused by the bad physics inside the unfinished Source engine that Troika had to work with. I often see enemies clipping into walls when being thrown back in a fight...

Hi i have found a Bug wen you play as an Female Malkavian. Wen you try to give this Heather or wat her name is in the Horspital your Blood to Save her the Cutscene is not playing and i have no way of turning her into a Gouhl.And im unable to speak to her again.

Have you talked with Mercurio or Knox about ghouls? Because when you don't know what they are you can't help Heather (even if you know from another playthrough).

Hi thanks for your reply . The problem i have is that i can click during the dialogoption to let her drink my blood but the cutscene is not Playing that usually plays and after that i can not talk with her again . With my Tremere i have no problems and the cutscene plays i only have the problem with Male and Female Malkavian.

Then I have no explanation and can only recommend to start a new game to see if the bug vanishes. My beta tester always plays Malkavian and he never reported something like this...

Hi I thought i would throw in my discovery. Im heavily modding my game at the moment but have a vanilla install that runs the version of the unofficial patch that comes with the GOG install. Its usually runs this version when you launch the game with the shortcut. I've gotten to Grout's mansion and am in the second floor area underground where the secret wall door in the hall with holding cells. against the wall where the door is i get a texture flicker. I looked into the nearby holding cell and up in the window there is a texture popping out of alignment against the window on the wall. I think this texture is causing the clip. I ran the game again playing the Vanilla version also installed and the wall was fine. I know the unofficial patch adds many things to this area but wondered what could be done about the texture flickering. Okay, I've installed the Clan Mod and started a new game. I'm finding that the werewolf blood quest is bugged. I've gone back to check at what point the bug occurs and think I've isolated it.

I complete the Surfs Up quest, but before speaking to Mercurio, I returned to my flat, checked and deleted the emails received so far. At this point, there is no quest to get the werewolf blood.

I visit Mercurio, give him the explosives and money, have a conversation about what's next, then go back to my flat.

The quest for the werewolf blood is now on my computer, but it has already been opened. This means that when I open it, the game considers it is being re-read and the 'Bloody Mess' quest doesn't register in my Quest Log.

As it's not registering as an active quest, the game doesn't generate the werewolf blood in the safe at the hospital (2nd floor). Yes - I have checked this out.

As far as I can ascertain, the point where the quest is bugged is when it arrives on the computer.

Does anyone know how I can get the quest to register in my Quest Log?

Interestingly enough, if you play the game via VTM Bloodlines (Legacy) the emails behave themselves and the werewolf blood quest arrives on the computer unopened, meaning your character is able to open it and activate the quest.

This also appears to be the most stable of the game options I have available since downloading the Clan Mod, as Mercurio has a sofa to lie on (green play option = missing sofa) and AI's on the street are moving rather than static (Clan Mod icon on my desktop = non moving AI).

The Legacy option is reached by right clicking on the game in your GOG Galaxy games list, go to 'other' at the bottom and VTM Bloodlines (Legacy) is there.

Yes - I verified my files etc immediately after installing mod.

This all seems like a pretty decent error report. It would be a shame if you did not report it to the makers of the mod.
