Is there anything worthwhile after the final boss ? Anemone was a huge pain in the ass and since there is no save room between the 2, I am left without any health potion for the final battle. There's no way in hell I'm going through the anemone fight again, so aside from a cutscene, what else would I miss ?

Oh gawd the end fight/sequence is kind of awful.

There's a cutscene or scenes depending on what extra you did in the game, and there's also an overall rank that tracked everything you did in the game.
That endgame timed jump puzzle section is the main reason I just said f- it and went to watch the ending sequence on youtube. Can't say I'm sad to have skipped the final boss either, that fight looks painfully tedious and repetetive.

I found the last boss a lot easier than Magnus even though the last boss has more effective defenses and healing abilities, I even managed to defeat it on my first try (I was sweating like hell when it had less than 20% health..) I played on normal (2nd easiest difficulty. I can't imagine either bosses though on Godmode or whatever it's called when you lose the game on your first death.

As for hardbosses there are two secret, optional bosses representing the power of demons or angels, they are even harder than any other bosses because they have an insane amount of health yet there are people who have defeated them without glitches or special items.

I agree though that the endgame puzzle is laughable, but thankfully we are all free to skip it. :)

I don't even remember this. You mean the timed plateforming section with everything crumbling around you ? Anyway I said fuck it too, to the final boss though, and I am glad I did. The ending just wasn't worth it.

I probably should have played in normal mode instead of hard. New games nowadays are just so easy, I usually start with hard because it's basically the equivalent of 15 years ago-normal mode.
I fought True Anemone for about two hours last night, completely unable to get it down past half health before it would just heal itself faster than I could wear it down. It was a real tax on my patience and my sanity. After pausing to look for help online, I learn that I simply didn't level up my spells enough. Really? I'm max level, have all the assists, weapons and armors, and that's not good enough?

Taking down the two bonus bosses was extremely tough (especially the angel one), but I still did it. The final boss fight? Forget it.

I'm out.

My experience is fairly similar, I didn't finish everything, but have one of my weapons max level and it's impossible to get past half of it's health, it heals too much too quickly. It's also bullshit that as soon as the healing phase is activated it's shield instantly refresh to full health.
If the problem is really in the level of spells than that's very poor game design as I always play melee characters and only used magic to get to areas and for healing/damage buff, those are also the only spells I upgraded. And this basicaly means I need to either restart the game or hope I have the stuff necessary to respec and build a magic focused character?

Yeah. When I was completely fed up, I looked up some information online and I found that the end boss is weaker to magic than physical attacks. Thus, magic is able to get through the shields quicker than weapons can. I could probably have respecced my character, but I had already logged so many hours into the game that I just didn't want to deal with it any longer.

It's a real shame as I did thoroughly enjoy the game up until that moment. :/

You could've defeated anemone then go back and save the game.
i did it... and faced the final boss with 3 health and 3 mana potions.
