Looks like the Steam version is several updates ahead of the GOG version which leaves me feeling like I should have purchased this on Steam instead of GOG. I feel left out and like I've got an unfinished product that I paid just as much for here on GOG as those who bought it on Steam.

There were bugs? I feel kind of left out. I never experienced any.

The most blatant is the missing 'robes' skill.

Touche.

Perhaps OP should write a support ticket?

This really is a case of the developer ignoring the GOG version of the game.

Found this some time ago (see second to last post): http://www.unepicgame.com/phpBB3_en/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=2058

It sounds like they're waiting for most of the issues and added stuff to be worked out so they can just do one big update to the gog version. Hopefully they'll actually follow through as I really liked the demo, but would like the gog version to be fixed before buying it.

if you really need to play the new updates just click on your copy here on gog and take the serial code listed in the drop down menu that pops up(you know the one with the installer and extras buttons) it should be something like GOG7655345, head over to the Unepic website( Unepicgame.com ) and create a account there(all you need is a email and the key) and from there you can get a steam key.

Alternatively you can wait as the GOG version will see a mega update.

Depending on when you purchased it, no?

Textual words of the creator:
"Concerning gog and web versions, have in mind that Steam version is in a "early access" mode, and this means that changes and experiments are being done. This is not reflected in gog because gog and web versions are supposed to be solid/finished versions, where the player won't find unfinished things, like the multiplayer. In fact most of patches are for the level editor and multiplayer stuff.

As soon as new features are included, tested and agreed by the community, they will be updated in gog and web. Most of the last changes has been done in the unfinished multiplayer that are not available in other shops.
Nowadays, for instace, zoom option, automatic invoentory sort option and English dubbing are being done. As soon as these options are done, they will be updated in web and gog."
Latest update of Unepic was sent a few days ago to the gog staff. It must be about to come out.
It includes English voices, sort inventory/spells/recipe option, zoom option, and a few adjustments in damages from/to mobs.

There is nothing in the gameplay completely new. Most work during the last months have been focused in the WiiU version, multiplayer version and English voices.

Future changes that will affect the gog version is an improvement of shortcuts for conntrollers.
