I'm having a hard time in combat because of the input lag. I remember playing this game a long time ago and while it wasn't the smoothest, it was still running decent. But now every time I go into combat, movement and attacks severely lag. Anyone know what causes this?
I'm Having the same problem. When I stop pressing the forward button my character keeps running for a few seconds.
can't even kill the first two creeps without being killed 2 to 3 times.
I have the same problem with Tow Worlds 1....
I did try a lot of different graphic settings, but without result .
Is there anyone where the game is normal running ?

Same problem here. Updating didn't help, neither did a wipe and re-install.
Same here, but what i can add is - i just reinstalled Win10 x86_64 and 2 days ago there were no input lag. So something changed in this 2 days (like Win update released?). BTW, do all of whom have this issue use Win10 or any other OSes are vulnerable too?

Ok, what i found out is that if you run it with administrator rights, there will be no input lag. But setting Run with admin rights flag in Compatibility tab for TwoWorlds.exe and starting it through GOG Galaxy isn't the case. You need to start this exact executable. The only user experience improvement i see is to create a shortcut for it to place on desktop or anywhere you prefer.

Thanks, I guess it does work better when launching the exe in admin mode. I have Win10 Pro x64 version 1607.
Yes, that works.
If I start the -exe direct with admin mode, the input lag is away.
Thanks !
Even without giving admin rights, just by launching the game directly I get no lag. Do somebody try it?
Could it be just the galaxy overlay that did this?

I just checked out your point and it seems like Galaxy Overlay is the cause. On unticking it in settings any input lag disappears no matter have you set admin right to executable or not.
So yes, it's definitely is an option if you don't mind about overlay in other games as well or switching it on/off. But looks like a good bug report option to GOG Galaxy team as well to check what could be wrong there.

Yes, Galaxy isn't required to run GOG games. Only thing I use Galaxy for is updating game version files--seems to work better than simply installing the updates and running the games afterwards, for some reason. I noticed that particularly with the CoT DLC. Interesting.
