I just noticed found out that the Steam version of the game just got a level editor. Did the GOG version get this update as well, and if not, will it be getting this update in the future? A lot of the stuff I have seen about it seems to suggest that it uses Steam workshop to host the maps. I'm a bit worried this means we won't be getting this feature just like we didn't get the editor for Hotline Miami 2.
I would like to know this as well. Would suck if we don't get it here.

Actually, this finally showed up last month.

Oh cool. Then there's hope we'll get the Turok editor yet. I just hope it doesn't take nearly as long as it did for Hotline Miami 2.

Keeping this bumped, for now.

Hoping that we don't get any more of a divide between Steam and GoG versions of games. Maybe one day GoG.com can find a way to host mods much in the way that Steam's Workshop allows, when Galaxy is fully developed and out of Beta. :P

According to NDS' comment here, the GOG version is "coming soon" -

Yeah I just saw that. Was coming here just now to add that to this thread. Thanks a ton tfishell.
I just saw the announcement trailer for the Editor ... and to be honest: HOLY SHHHTTT I AM PUMPED!

No honestly, i LOVE those simple "build from assets" editors (Warcraft 3, C&C Generals, FarCry) and when i saw that for Turok, i got pretty excited!

I hope they deliver for the GOG version...

Yeah, my fingers are itching too to get laid on that leveleditor.
Hope it will be here soon.

I dreamed of doing levels for Turok since i started with Quake mapping, so get on with it :D

Just heard of this, cannot wait!
Any news?

I contacted GOG support about this, here's the reply I received:

"Unfortunately we don't have an ETA for the level editor to Turok in GOG release - there are some technical issues and we are still working with the publisher on fixing them. It will be released as soon as possible.
I apologise for the inconvenience."
A typical copy and paste message. I recieved the exactly same answer some weeks ago when I asked them. I would like to know what kind of technical issues are holding GOG off from finally releasing the Editor. Give us some real answers and not just pre-assembled shit every time we ask.
