The game always launches in windowed mode. It is possible to switch to full screen during gameplay, but is it possible to launch the game already in full screen?

I doubt there's a way to do this, but I'm far from being an expert. I looked in the game folder for any kind of config or ini file, but found none, except for an ini file for the uninstaller.

I also tried applying a /fullscreen or -fullscreen command line perameter to the game's shortcut, which didn't work. But, again, I'm no expert on using command line parameters--I actually had to Google around because I couldn't remember whether to use "/" or "-"!

If there was a solution, I suspect it would have appeared in this thread by now. Personally, I'm not too concerned over this. Almost everybody seems to feel like the game was worth the price of admission. At least we CAN go full screen after starting. But, just to be thorough for future readers, I also checked Steam's discussion threads, where a few people have posted the OP's question over the past few years, and never received an official answer or unofficial workaround. Up until mid 2013 (when official support for Triple Town seems to have completely tapered off), the developer was pretty quick to answer most questions about the game; But never answered questions about starting out in full screen. To be fair to studio Spry Fox, no one actually ever asked about this on their official forums (most people there seemed to be mobile app users); However, Spry Fox did maintain a significant presence on their Steam forum, where, again, the question was asked a few times.

Spry Fox has moved on and is now only supporting Road Not Taken, which just released to some very positive reviews. If you happen to be reading this during the week of Sunday, March 22, 2015, then you can pick Spry's new game up on Humble's Weekly Bundle for (at the time of this writing) $4.92. Quite a deal, considering its normal price is $15, and the bundle also includes Vertical Drop Heroes HD; A Wizards Lizard; The Nightmare Cooperative; and Delver (an Early Access title that's raking in positive reviews). All of the games include a Steam code, but can be downloaded directly from your Humble library too.
