Hi!
I want to register Torchlight 2 on my Runic account but there is no option to connect with GoG and i can't find any serial key on my game page in library (if there is any), is there any way to do this?
This question / problem has been solved by kokosabreimage
If you already have Runic account use it. You dont need to connect it to GOG or anything.

Edit: If you dont have an account, create one and use it. Just did that and had no issue logging with it on the GOG version. So it seems that you dont need CD key for the Online MP

Thank you, actually it works
Sorry to butt in, but: I do NOT need to register my Torchlight on the Runic website? In fact, I can't because I bought on GoG?

What's the drawback to that? Or, what would I gain from having a key that I could register my TL2 with?

I think I fail to understand what is your question exactly. You dont have to register anything on Runic website. If you bought the game on GOG, you just need to make an account and call it a day. If you bought it from Origin or Steam then you may need to register it on their website.

Well, that answers my (ill-posed) question :) Thanks.
I know this is tagged as solved, but I just bought the game on GoG and the above mentioned multiplayer issue has hit me with full force.

I created a Runic account and I can login just fine on the website, but when I start up TL2 and want to start a multiplayer game, I enter my login info and get 'account not associated with purchase'.. Any thoughts on what to do next?

Weird since I have no issue with both of my accounts(one is linked to steam and the other not).

You sure you are typing your pass correctly? Sorry, had to ask since I have no clue what might cause that.

Just thinking about and kokosabres response, you do not have any unusual characters in your account name which Torchlight 2 might translate wrong?
My password does hold a few Scandinavian letters, that could be the cause I suppose.

I will try and change it, and report back with my findings.
UPDATE: Okay, I changed the password so that it contains no odd letters.

I then start up the game, proceed with an attempt to start a multiplayer game, but alas, the same result as before: 'not associated with purchase'..

Funny thing is, if I choose 'Manage my account' and get redirected to the Runic website, I get the message 'You are now ready for Torchlight II internet play'... *whoosh*...

Sorry if I didn't say it clearer, not the password, the username ;)

But really strange that you see this ^^

I must admit if not the username thing, I am out of ideas and would suggest to contact support.
*sigh*.....

This is one of those times where I feel above-average retarded...

This whole time, I have been typing the password for my Runic account, which made perfect sense, right? Well apparently not to the game which, in all its brilliance and for some reason, decided to set the login username as being that of the character I created.. That of course is why my Runic password did not work, but as soon as I changed the username to my email addy, as used in account creation, wouldn't you know it? Hey presto!

Now you might wonder why I didn't notice the misplaced username before, but in my now fading state of mental power outage, it turns out my eyesight was lacking as well.. :-D

Sorry for taking up unnecessary amounts of your time, I'll just crawl back under my rock now...

1. You did came back!
2. You did tell the whole story so that somebody else will (maybe) avoid it!
3. You embarrassed yourself (priceless)

Sorry couldn't resist this 'copy' of master card ad ;)

And I MUST admit, something this obvious did also went by me ;) So you can feel not all the way alone ;)
Sometimes you don't see the forest because of tress.
Actually it not works for me. I created new Runic account, which let mi go in game to create internet game, however when I restarted game, it won't let me log in again, because account is not connected with purchased game/not registered. Any suggestions?
