Just installed Torchlight on my Windows 10, 64 bit computer. I have started playing but cannot figure out how to save the game. I looked in the manual but could not find the answer there.

Any help will be appreciated.

AFAIK, your progress is saved automatically in both Torchlight games. To load your game, select "Load Character" (Torchlight 1) or "Load Game" (Torchlight 2), then pick your character. Select "Play" to load your game. In Torchlight 2, you can also select "Resume" to load your previous game, as the same character as before (this feature is not present in Torchlight 1).

Thanks. I see what my problem was -- I had not selected the option where you could re-start. Also, I was looking for the sort of arrangement where you could save over and over rather than ONLY your most recent current game.
