According to the current GOG description it is Windows only.

According to Steam it is Windows/OSX/Linux: http://store.steampowered.com/app/286000/Tooth_and_Tail/

This page also indicates that it is cross platform: http://pocketwatchgames.com/
Quote: Mac and Linux can now play with Windows!

So why does the GOG page say only Windows?

The GOG release will only have Windows and Mac (for now) because Galaxy hasn't yet been ported to Linux, and the multiplayer component will depend on Galaxy.

Are you a developer, or are you speculating?

It's the exact same reason why many games that have Linux versions on Steam don't have them here. Plus, it was confirmed on stream last week.
Lol and by the time Linux Galaxy is released these types of games won't be updated by the developers. GOG's shooting themselves in the foot.
Yet another game that I am forced to buy on Steam because no GOG Galaxy for Linux...
I am not even interested in the multiplayer - I've just run into this game and I would love to try a strategy game designed to be used with a controller. That is if I can run it on my system, however...

Nice strategy games (turn based though) with controller and Linux support:

- Hard West
- Steamworld Heist
- Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun

Sort of:

- The Dwarves

I'm waiting for a Linux release on GOG to buy the game.
Has someone tried this through wine, including multiplayer through galaxy?
I'd be fine with a DRM-free/GOG version even if it lacks online support, as long as it at least has LAN support. My friends and I can just use my OpenVPN server.
I purchased that game only to realize that my Mac is running too slow for a decent game experience.

I wish there can be a Linux version, so at least I can play the campaign mode alone.
