The store page says the game is only in English. Is there a way to get the other language versions? I grew up playing the German version and would rather play that one for nostalgia,

I am working on a German patch right now. I really hope that GOG will bring additional language versions of this game here as well but for the time this is not the case such patches could help.

German patch is ready and seems to work fine so far.

the link above does not work because a misleading character, the ending "y": correct is https://www.gog.com/forum/general_de/sammelthread_zu_deutschmods_und_sprachpatches_fur_spiele_die_hier_nur_auf_englisch_erhaltlich_sin/page1

btw: thank you for your efforts!

Thanks for telling me this. I fixed the link accordingly.

Cool! Thanks a lot!
Some lines are not translated, you get english text instead of german. Is this a problem which existed always in this game or only in this gog version? Or a problem with the german files? For example it happens when you ask Trask if he could check some of your items, this line is english instead of german.
Hope the same for french language, how did you do for the German one ? I could try myself :)
This is great and all but the German is censored because of the mentions of Adolf Hitler and the Nazi Party in the game specially on the endings. Unless Germany allows the uncensored English version which would be rated 18 from the USK.

Question!l

I own the original CD's of the Dutch version of this game.

Is it easy to update the game data with these files so I can play the Dutch version?

@MarkoH01 how did you do the German version?

No, it should not be difficult to add the dutch language to the GOG release if you own the original files. Download my German patch from here and take a look at the filenames after extracting the files to a directory. Now simply search for those files in your dutch installation and you should be able to make a dutch language patch with ease. Simply exchange those files with the one from the GOG release - it's exactly what I did :)

You're welcome. Let me add that there are free file comparision tools available on the internet with which you can compare two game installations to find out which files differ and which are the same (I use Freefilesync i.e.) . So to make a language patch often (not always) is not a hard task to do. Sometimes however the files are not compatible and in such cases such a patch won't work. I can't give you a guarantee that this will work but it's always worth a try. Good luck.

This is a real issue for me in GOG. I do understand english, no problem with that, but when I read the game title in French from GOG, I expect to have french language available... Only english, english and so few other languages for other games.

How does it works ? Is it so difficult to get other language ? I have many original games on Floppy or CDs, should I send it to them ?
Having only english is a real loss I think.
