Steam version of the game was updated today to the "Anniversary Edition".

New features (taken from Steam):

- 3 brand new locations
- new civilians (NPCs)
- a whole new ending scenario
- a new achievement to get

I cant't find any news about the update for GOG version so, does anyone know if and when will we get it?

although i see gog is still selling the dlc, so we might not see the above just yet

Anniversary Edition is the new 'basic' game. It's more like an update than DLC.

The Little Ones is still separate DLC, though. :-(

I think it will. Leaving something away shouldn't be harder than putting it in right? (Talking about the DRM.)

ye true, although i read somewhere someone tried to take the bits from their steam version and put them into their gog folder and it crashed

i haven't got the steam version so i don't know what it would entail, but i'm sure someone here knows :)

ok this game has thankfully been updated to the ANNIVERSARY EDITION
It's been two years since This War of Mine global release and we're still expanding the experience. This new free DLC, created especially for the Anniversary Edition, adds new characters, new locations to explore, and most importantly - a whole new ending, leading to a different outcome to the game. Can anybody confirm that this "soundtrack edition" here at GOG is the "anniversary edition" available at steam? I mean, why all the mess with different naming? I'm really confused.

And what are the latest patches? At steam seems there is 3.0.2 already.

Yes it's very confusing.
But I can confirm that This War Of Mine on GOG currently is at version 3.0.2. and it is the Anniversary Edition. :)
