Hey peeps,
I just bought this game after playing the hell out of it on PS4* got it for free from my PSN membership* and I noticed one can add custom pictures into the game... I've tried googling it and even hitting up Youtube and all it gives me is the " how to" with the Steam version... my question is... How do you add the pictures to the game with the GOG version?
Please advise.

I think you just have to drop any photos you want to use as character portraits into the "C:\Users\[your Windows username]\Documents\This War of Mine\Portraits" folder (assuming you're on Windows) to get the game to detect them, then try creating your custom characters in-game; I've never tried it, though, so I'm not sure how much more (if any) there is to it.
EDIT: Ah, I just found this in the game's changelog in the library:
Additionally, here's a quick guide on how to add own photos to the character editor:

only format ----> .jpg
due to auto-adjusting, we recommend square resolution, for example 500x500
place a jpg photo in Portraits folder in the game's main folder, which usually is here: C:\Users\your user name\Documents\This War of Mine
restart the game after uploading photo to make the photo available in the editor
