If you are having issues with Thief 3 on Win 10, then try to use dgVoodoo 2 software. It is designed to help you run older games on newer machines. It has helped me with Swat 3, Metal Gear Solid Integral and now with Thief 3.

Just download the software and dll files, and put them in the same folder with the games .exe.
Start dgVoodoo 2 and make the adjustments.

Works great with minimalist project.

Also, if you have black screen when loading a mission, you can try disabling 'direct load' on the sneaky tweaker's troubleshooting page.

I tried to get to that software and my antivirus blocked it as a threat, not allowing me access even with my permission . Is it unsafe now??

EDIT: My antivirus said it was infected with a threat called" Blacklist."

It is a false positive. Try to add the software as an exception.

"What I can say is that dgVoodoo and my other stuffs often get false positive detections from various antivirus softwares but they are 100% safe. They don't contain any backdoor or dangerous code at all, it doesn't matter what your AV says. This was a problem for all other softwares built with NSIS (Nullsoft Installer) because that utility also builds an installer containing compressed data."

Guys, just use the fan patch called Sneaky Upgrade. You don't need to use dgvoodoo2. Don't get me wrong dgvoodoo2 isn't bad, from what I hear the whole virus thing is actually a false positive, but I have used Thief: Deadly Shadows (Steam version) with Sneaky Upgrade and the game runs fine on Windows 10 (64 bit).

Sorry this post is late. Hope this patch solves the compatibility issues. Have fun!
