I downloaded the game for free a few months ago and I am wondering if this version supports other languages?
I know it doesn't state any others in the description but I remember it had a language screen back in the day.
This question / problem has been solved by Keltharimage
GOG has only the english version. But at least it is legal.

I would be very interested were you got the game "for free"...
Shame it only comes in english, spanish dub was pretty boss.

Oh well, can´t have everything. I'm too happy anyway that it´s finally been added.
Bad Version you got there GOG... My CD Version of Theme Hospital has 6 languages on it if I'm not mistaken (only remember French, English, German, Spanish and some additional options), and you can change them ingame

Hope the multilanguage version is coming soon

A simple Google search would answer that question for you.
It's available for free completely legally.

You really need to look up the definition of "legal" ....

It has been released as abandonware.
I don't think I have to look up the definition of "legal", then.

Why so ignorant? If I am wrong, please correct me here but since it has been released as abandonware it's not illegal to download.
I haven't heard of any copyright infrigment claims over abandonware.

Edit:
Did some research.

From the Wikipedia:
"Abandonware are discontinued products for which no product support is available, or whose copyright ownership may be unclear for various reasons."

"In most cases, software classed as abandonware is not in the public domain, as it has never had its original copyright revoked and some company or individual still owns exclusive rights. Therefore, sharing of such software is usually considered copyright infringement, though in practice copyright holders rarely enforce their abandonware copyrights."

So it's not legal but people most likely won't face legal consequences.
Furthermore, the game is distributed under a "free" license on various prestigious sites, which seems odd.

When you knew all of this in the first place, why didn't you tell me?
Ignorance doesn't really help.

However.
Back to my original topic, I really hope the multilingual version will be available on GOG, soon. I may even get it, then.

You do know that by the GOG release of the game it is no longer abandonware (hint: it isn't a legal term in the first place), because it is now widely available.

Therefore, even if you consider abandonware legal (dramatic pause for laughter), the version you now have is as pirated as any game will ever be. And now you demand from GOG that they give you the right languages before you actually pay for the game you are illegally playing? And only then you "may even get it".

Who is ignorant here again?

You, because obviously, you didn't read my whole post.
Done with you.
Will they include more languages?

I still have my original big box with CDs and manuals, and back in the days I played it in my home languages; Swedish.

I remember all diseases, equipment had very funny names and I would love getting this in the Swedish language ...

You can change the language by editing the line "LANGUAGE=" in the HOSPITAL.CFG config file.
I tried FR, GER, SPA and SWE and they all seem to work. :)

Can someone confirm this? That would be awesome.
