On p.2 of the original TH manual, it talks about setting 'zoom keys': To set a zoom key, go to where you want to zoom to and press Alt + a function key. This stores your zoom position. To zoom back to that position, press Ctrl + the function key.

Sounds super helpful - and I've figured out that on a Mac, setting the zoom key requires hitting Alt + Fn + a function key. But I can't for the life of me figure out how to recall/view the zoom key that I had set. When I try Ctrl + Fn + the same function key, it crashes the game and brings me back to my desktop. The following don't work either:
- Ctrl + the function key
- Cmd + the function key
- Cmd + Fn + the function key
- Shift + the function key
- Shift + Fn + the function key

Anyone know how to do this correctly?

Thanks!

I think the Mac already has default shortcuts set for control-F1 etc, which may be what is crashing your game.
Go to System Preferences > Keyboard > Shortcuts > Keyboard and untick all the ^F1 ^F2 ^F3 etc. shortcuts. (At least this is where it's located in MacOS 10.15, it might be slightly different for a different OS)

I'm not sure if it will work, but it might be worth a try.

Ooooo, I was so hoping this would work but I just tried it and unfortunately it still crashes / doesn't respond correctly. :/ I bet it's *something* along these lines though ... Thanks @kipper01! If anything else comes to mind, do let me know. :)
