mindicortex: I don't disagree with you, it seems another guy just can run it with a 650 as well but that's also a matter of resolution.
There was couple of people with GTX460, running w3 on med settings on 1920*1080 with solid 30fps (idk if it's legit). So i think that optimisation of game itself is really good, and first hotfix promises to fix most of the post-release problems.

So i don't see a real reason to wait.

I think thats bullshit. As I wrote on another thread, I run it on 1080p using a gtx780 with 20/30 fps (high settings AA on).

Hm, i can test it with both of my monitors working as one but big. 2560*1024. Give me a sec.
I have a GTX 670.
Everything in high/ultra.
And it's smooth.
Lol, screenshots are too big for upload. XD This is on aa medium with most of post processing off, only ssao is on. FPS in the upper left corner.

jerjoe: I'm thinking 'wait,' but let's see how those who've bought it respond.
GTX 960 here. A few hours in, no bugs, no crashes, good performance.

Oh yeah -- and the game is awesome. If you want a better experience ( and possibly a better price ), feel free to wait, but the game seems to be absolutely playable and enjoyable in its current state.

mindicortex: Lol high settings with a 660? I barely use high settings with a 780....

My advice : don't buy it yet and wait some patches, this game is not finished....
This is a good game with some big bugs.
Can't confirm this. However, it's possible there's problems with specific graphics cards/ hardware combinations.

The game seems to run fine on Maxwell GPUs in general. But many people with older GPUs seem to get solid performance as well.

Yup but thats the point, Nvidia made some shitty and fallacious work wtih their last drivers....they simply didn't take care about Kepler and just focused on Maxwell so a 180 euros card performs better than a 500 euros older card.
So, maybe CD Projekt is not faulty here but others bugs result from their work.

TearOfTheStar: Turn off vsync and turn fps limiter to Unlimited.
Unlimited gives me some really uneven frame rates, and I'd prefer the steady experience.
It's always wise to wait for a couple of reasons, even three or four:
1.Price will drop.
2.Patches will be finished, therefore most bugs will be fixed.
3.Galaxy should be out off beta.
4.Remember Skyrim's problems when released.

if you are left handed or have an accessibility issue and you need to rebind keys, then wait.
If you are playing with controller, go ahead and enjoy it;

If you are playing with mouse+keyboard on PC, wait. Definitely.
I got this on Steam but I'm getting it on GOG again. *once they release the enhanced version*

Shut up and just take my money!

I was one of those who had nothing but fun with Skyrim. Still haven' finished it, there's so many quests to do.

Yeah, I'm not buying a PS4 or another Xbox just to play it, and it sounds like trouble on PC.

I have the game, played 7-9 hours, and am waiting.
Too many bugs to play the way it is right now.

So, my opinion, wait. Wait for all the patches that break current good things to be patched.
Wait for the fov patch.
Wait for the keybinding patch.
Wait for the stuttering patch.
Wait for the 'No Experience' patch.
And then wait for patches after those that probably broke other stuff.

;)
