OK, so I've pre-loaded TW3 via GOG Galaxy, and then observed that the language is set to English by default and you cannot change it. So, I have a perfectly logical question - can I change the language when the game is released, or will I be forced to re-download it?

You will have to buy a second copy of the game if you want another language.

Just kidding - you can change language in-game.

As far as I know, you can do it separately for voice and text which is even greater.

Indeed!
Oh, stupid me. I just thought someone said that localization is locked to your region, and was worried that my region wasn't identified correctly.
if u want any language for audio thats not english here in eu u will have to download the language audio pack on may 19th which is around 3 GB for each language u want

CDProjekt RED isn't like EA. Not having possibility to change game language is bullshit.

So here's how it works:
- GOG installation (including pre-download) downloaded by Galaxy or from My Account includes by default ALL subtitles available for the game and English voice-over
- at the time of release, as soon as the first patch is downloaded, you will be able to change game language in the Galaxy (it will download that voice-pack without removing English one, so you can always easily switch between your language and English :)
- language packs will be also available for download from the Account page - I'm not sure if they will be there exactly at the moment of release but that's the plan :)

Finally we can stop guessing. Thank you for clarification!

Can we know what language packs will be available? I'll probably stick to the english one, but I need to know :p

Italian: text only...
Now I'm curious: the first The Witcher game had italian subtitles AND voices, the second one had only italian subtitles and now even this has only italian subtitles... were you the ones to include the italian voices in the first game or was some publisher that decided to do it? And, if it were you, then why did you choose to take away the italian voices from the other two games of The Witcher?

This appears to imply that there's a possibility that Polish won't be available immediately IF I'm not using Galaxy. Since I already downloaded all the "pre-load" files manually, do I need to re-download with "Galaxy" to ensure I can change the voice language to Polish from day 1?

Thanks
What time when Japanese Language data of The Witcher 3 is May 21 in Japan time at GOG.com, Steam and Origin, it's possible to download it, will it be?
