Hi,

I was playing Witcher 3 on my pc with windows 7 with a xbox one gamepad. Windows 10 arriving, i've installed it then try to play witcher 3 again with the same gamepad.
In the latest configuration i face a really annoying problem : my right et left trigger are not working at all, so i can't parry and i can't use witcher "sens".

Is anyone facing the same problem with this gamepad ?

Anyone have a solution for that ?

Thanks for the help

Can you rebind the keys again from the options? If it isn't the case, then maybe win10 driver is bugged? You can try the following roll back to an earlier driver version:

1. Open Device Manager
2. Locate your "Xbox One Controller"
3. Right Click "Xbox One Controller" then select "Update Driver Software"
4. Select "Browse my computer for driver software"
5. Select "Let me pick from a list of device drivers on my computer"
6. Choose "Microsoft Xbox One Controller", click "Next".

Try to reset the Controls to default.

It's working fine here, but I use the Xbox 360 Controller and not the Xbox One Controller.
W10 has the latest driver and the xbone pad installs automatically without any issues. If anything the manual driver might be the issue.

Driver Version 10.0.10240.16384

I finally find the problem thanks for your help.
Si i try to do as Vythonaut said, but it did not change anything.

So i uninstalled the driver i manually installed after the installation of windows 10 (like i did for windows 7) and try to install a new driver using the same guide provided by Vythonaut. I used "Xbox Controller". Reboot and play Witcher 3 without any problem !

Thanks for your help. Hope it could help some other people facing the same problem.

Good night.
Remember to calibrate your controller.

For Windows 10, in the Cortana bar type joy.cpl

Click Properties. On the Settings tab click Calibrate.

Note: You’ll be prompted to use the directional pad (also referred to as the D-pad), but use the left stick instead. If you use the directional pad, the left stick configuration may be incorrect.

To use the Device Calibration Wizard to configure the axes of your game controller, click Next.

Leave the left stick centered. Press any button on the controller.

Move the left stick to all the corners, and then press any button on the controller.

Leave the left stick centered. Press any button on the controller.

Move the Z axis (press the left trigger then release, then press the right trigger and release) all the way up and down, and then press any button on the controller.

Move the X rotation (move the right stick) left and right, and then press any button on the controller.

Move the Y rotation (move the right stick) all the way up and down, and then press any button on the controller.

To save your configuration, click Finish.

On the Test tab, test the operation of the controller.

If you're satisfied with the new settings, click OK two times. If you're not satisfied, click Settings, and then click Reset to default. When you click Reset to default, the device controls are reset to the original, default settings.
