The game is surely bgger then the 24 gb I've downloaded so far. Whats up wth that.
you complain too much
It's called file compression. Judging a game on it's download size is ridiculous.
It s just I'm afrad that the files might be too compressed. On the steam site t sys that it is 35 gb which seems more likely for a game on that scale.

The difference in size might be because the Steam comes with all the language packs ? Seems they roughly take 10 gigs on GOG, but they are a separate download.

You realize they don't all stay compressed after you download them right? Some are decompressed in the install process, some are decompressed on the fly by the engine as needed, etc.

What does "too compressed" mean or have any bearing on the quality of the game? You can have lossless compression where you compress something and the quality is not affected as opposed to lossy compression where something is discarded in the compression process to make the files smaller.
