Hi, its my second attempt to Wtcher 3 as I could not kill Caranthir at the end due to a bug. Nothing is helping, the guy is in god mode and he is not loosing any energy at all.

I have to mention that I had Chamberlain bug, which was fixed by repairing the game from GOG. Also I had bugs like opponents not attacking just standing still (two maybe three times).

I have reinstalled the game, reinstall GOG, try to play again from previous saves and nothing works.

I am thinking about playing the game again from the start, as I had a two year break now, but I am afraid the bug will come back.

Anyone had any similar problem?

Remember, when fighting as Geralt, roll is your friend.
When fighting as Ciri her dash move is excellent.

You missed my point!
I know how to fight, I hit him all the time, can hit him for half an hour and his health gauge is not moving!

I did. Sorry.

I know with many foes, their health restores quite quickly, I assumed this was your problem here.

May I ask, what is your level going into this fight?

I logged back to check if you had used the Gourmet ability. Personally, each time I play a new game, I get this first.

Assuming your installation is not broken *and* is up to date, this is usually caused by mods interfering with scripts.

Everything was up to date, no mods, fresh installation with old saves.

But just managed to fix it :D started from saved game a week earlier and went straight to the main plot of the game, no side quests. It worked. At lerast I could see the finish this time.

Thanks
