Witcher 2 lags horribly no matter what low setting I use. When I move the camera right above geralt its fine but when looking at the scenery it goes down to 10 fps.

My computer is

nvidia 9800gt
Intel Core2 Duo CPU E8400@3.00GHz
4 gig ram

I hope there is a fix this is most disapointing.

What resolution? The 9800 GT is close to the stated minimum, and cards in this range have a lot of trouble with 1920x1080. If you're trying to run at that resolution, I suggest trying 1280x720 instead.

It's specifically resolution that matters when you're trying to get performance out of a low to mid-range GPU.

If you get bad lag at 1280x720 specifically, two additional possibilities are that your drivers are not up to date, or that your computer is running something that interferes with the game. Start by making sure you have the current nVidia drivers for your card and OS.
