So in The Witcher 2 I decided that this playthrough I'm going to try for an alchemy build with Impregnation 2/2 so that I can utilize the most out of my mutagens. By sheer luck I got 2 Greater Enhancement Mutagen's from crafting alchemy items with Side Effects 2/2 and decided to slap them on seeing as they each now have a 10% adrenaline generation when striking an enemy. Problem is, is that I'm hitting things but my adrenaline isn't going up even though I have the Mutant ability which allows Geralt to berserk when the adrenaline bar is full. I'm about 2 hours into chapter 2 and never really bothered with mutagens before so I don't know if there's something special about Enhancement that I'm not seeing, but from the description it seems I should be getting at least some sort of adrenaline generation each strike. Am I missing something or is it just bugged? Thanks in advance!

As far as I remember you need to be intoxicated to generate adrenaline for berserker. This is only need for berserker. Combat Acumen (sword tree) and Magical Sense (magic tree): ou gain adrenaline with every hit (intoxicated or not). Hope that helps!
That's a bummer! I know Geralt needs to be toxic in order to generate adrenaline for berserker, but I thought the effect would apply itself to weapon strikes considering the description. Oh well, I'll just respec when I get to Loc Muinne. Thanks for the clarification!
