This is my first post here. I trully loved GoG, and most importantly, the Witcher Games. They are both a masterpiece of a game, although their systems and feel are very different. But enough praise; there are many issues with the newfound "Character Attributes" Witcher 2 introduces, and any OFFICIAL info would be greatly appreciated, if not needed, by those of us who wish to play the entire game thoroughly, see every different choice and get everything there is to get.

By character attributes, i mean these:
1) Axii Sign Hex, 3 levels
2) Persuasion, 3 levels
3) Intimidate, 3 levels
4) Cover
5) Battle Seasoned
6) Swordsman
7) Haggling
8) Arcane Knowledge
9) Strong Back
10) Pyromaniac
11) Exorcist
12) Anatomy Lesson
13) Experienced
14) Strong Stomach
15) Conjuror
16) Healthy Diet
17) Toxic Blood
18) Sapper
19) Assassin
20) Thrower
21) Child of the Night
22) Precision
23) Birdman
24) Half Pirouette
25) Executioner
26) Batter
27) Resistance to Magic
28) David
29) Parry
30) Invincible

Of those, some like No13 (Experienced) are reported to have been changed with the EE patch (for example, in EE the dummies have to be all different, whereas in original, you could get the respawned Prologue ones count towards getting the attribute).

Others, like No9 (Strong Back), are said to be obtained later in the game with other means (for example loosing a certain fistfight, but there are terrible inconsistencies and lack of info).

Some, like No5, 16, 22, 24 and 30, have zero info about how to get them and zero players claiming to have actually got them, at least up to now.

And finally, Toxic Blood and Sapper, cannot be obtained from everyone. Toxic Blood is reported to be unobtainable after EE patch, while sapper is rumoured to be bugged, and becomes supposedly obtainable by debugging, like using your amulet 5 times (?) while disarming a trap.

Find it to your heart, to put an end to vain pursuit, time wasting and collector 's despair. Please, do comment, and CLARIFY which ones of them are actually obtainable, as of now, which ones HAD BEEN obtainable once but are now REMOVED or otherwise ALTERED or CORRECTED, and finally, which ones of them have alternative ways of achieving (and if possible, what would they be). Thanks in advance, hopes are high, any OFFICIAL info will be greatly appreciated nonetheless.

I cut down down a bunch of respawned ones in Flotsam on the Xbox version (haven't tried on the PC version yet) and it didn't get me the perk earlier. There's also nothing in the guide about being able to using respawned ones to get the Experienced ability earlier than you're supposed to, so everything seems to indicate that you have to destroy unique ones.

Strong back is only obtained by saving Aryan La Valette. I don't know where the rumors of there being alternate methods of obtaining the Strong Back ability came from, but that's the only way of getting it. It's the only one mentioned in the guide, and the only one I've ever heard of over the past year or so. If there were other ways of getting it, someone would have stumbled onto it by now.

They're not in the game. Again, not sure where the misinformation behind those abilities came from, but they're not in the guide, nor are they actually in the game. It's possible that they were intended to be originally, but they're definitely not in the game now.

I haven't heard anything about problems with Toxic Blood, but it's not an ability that I've ever tried to get. It's in the EE guide, though if it's bugged I suppose that doesn't count for anything. Can you link to somewhere that explains the problem? I can't recall ever hearing about it being a problem, not even on the official forum.

Sapper is definitely obtained by interrupting Geralt while he disarms "at least 5" traps. Not sure why you say that it's bugged since that's how you're supposed to get that ability.

Witcher wiki and various talks, claim that after the Enhanced Edition update, toxic blood couldn 't be obtained from those who tried to. And i can confirmed it. I have been poisoned by rotfiends and greater rotfiends like 50 times, and still not getting it.

Sapper, i got it, but by exploiting a certain bug in tutorial, along with pyromaniac. And other people can get them normally anyway. Toxic Blood is my problem. All others, excluding iorveth path 's exclusives, worked perfectly for me (getting them).
