Looking at the amazon page for the standard edition download of witcher 2, amazon says it's 13.0gb, where as on the gog site, it says the download is 9.8

Why is there a little over 3gb more to the download from amazon?

Sounds like it isn't compressed

seems unusual that amazon wouldn't compress it. do you know for sure that is the reason or are you just guessing?
Most of the other versions of the game are nowhere near as well compressed as the GoG one. Steam has the same issue as well.
I assume it's because all the extra stuff is included in your download on Amazon/Steam, while on GoG the extras are all separate downloads.
The install size of it is 14.5gb, and doesnt steam normally put extra stuff like the DVDs in the tools Tab
