There are already quite a few threads on this mate. But its 7:00 AM GMT.
Unlocks at 5.00pm on the 17th May in Australia for all you (us) Aussies. Sorry I'm currently travelling in the US at present so not sure what time I will get it. lol
oh, sorry for the repost.. wasnt sure what keywords to search for so I just decided to make a new one :(

thanks for all the replies, 8am irish time tomorrow... today is going to pass so slowly
What I'm confused by is that the GoG specific FAQ, here: http://www.gog.com/en/support/the_witcher_2/_b_product_faq_b_
claims, under the "When can I unlock the Witcher 2?" heading states that it will unlock the rest of the files for download at 10:00 PM GMT today, not tomorrow. Or, is this only the files that are going to be unlocked, not the game?

Unfortunately that time is no longer accurate. It will be at 7 am GMT.
I less and less sure now.

From the GOG FAQ;
When can I download The Witcher 2?
You will be able to predownload the game after you purchase it. You'll get almost the entire game and, on May 17 at 07:00 AM GMT, you will only need to download a tiny chunk of the installer and you're good to go.
Of course you'll be able to redownload the game as many times as you like, should the need arise.

From the thewitcher.com FAQ
Information on the release date and on the activation of the game.up
Activation and playing the game will be possible:
- at 00:01 hour at the night between 15th and 16th May for the Collector's Edition
- at 00:01 hour on 17th May for the Premium Edition
- at 09:01 hour on 17th May for the digital editions
If you attempt to run the game before the dates given above the program will close without any warning immediately after entering the Product Activation Code.

So... the GoG.com version (and other digital editions) is the last to activate, though they told us that we'd be the first to play the game, that we were supporting the developers, though we have 9.6Gb of the Witcher 2 since 10th of May. Great job.
it would appear so, false advertising again.

so false advertising + poor support, i've still yet to recieve a reply from my purchase with the pricing being wrong.

i bought from here because it said £26.99 + be the 'first' to play. Appears this isn't the case....

You will be 'first' to play digital edition because you got to pre-download it :p
I am hoping that we can play at midnight GMT since people are getting the premium digital edition. doubt thats the case though.

Its only 9gig, no where near enough to justify a massive time gap.

Even so, it's still false advertising, playing piss poorly with words.

This isn't the way to win over pirating it......
Direct2drive yesterday changed the release date of The Witcher 2 to May 17th 12:01am PST, this would coincide with the support faq if the 9:01am is in Polish Time (GMT+2).
Yeah, I don't understand either the situation. Almost like they were punishing the digital customer.
