I dumped a pile of loot in near the well in the game to free up my encumberance so I could fight the guys in Flotsam with the arrest warrant. I didn't do too well and had to reload. Suffice to say when I beat them and went back for my loot it was gone. I can even see the bag of loot in my save screenshot clear as day but when loading in it seems it scrubs everything not part of the map.
