In Steam it says that the minimum video requiriments are "nVidia GF 8800 512 VR or similar ATI card". I have a nVidia GeForce 8500 GT 512 mb, will it work?(I don´t mean "work at maximum grapics" just, work).

I don't think it will work, at all. Playing a game below the minimum requirements could lead to all sorts of error messages, lock ups, false starts and artifacting in game. Then we get onto the problem of the frame rate. Expect 5-15 FPS with that card, even if you can manage to start the game up and play.

So yes the game MIGHT work, but expect to have a woeful, ugly, utterly poor experience within the game with your current GPU.

I am more then willing to help you decide a gpu upgrade, since that really is the only option to play TW2. What is your budget, if there is one?

I don´t really have a budget, but i am willing to pay as much as i have to, but have in mind that i live in uruguay so the latest video cards may not be avaivable.
What about your other system specs? Mainly your PSU, since we can determine what card is best for you based on the wattage it has, and if there is sufficient power on the rails.

Very good! I'm assuming that the PSU driving that will be in the 450-550 range, but please, please, please do check with the person who has built it for confirmation.

Based on that alone, there are three cards I recommend. The cheapest is the ati 5750 (which I use), the 5770 and for Nvidia, the gtx 460.

Hopefully the first two will be available in your country. Any of these three cards will not only power TW2 comfortably, but almost any other game you can think of today.

The ATI cards are avaivable, but just to know, would a Geforce 9500gt work too?

The 9500gt won't be sufficient for TW2. Unfortunately it's just a re-branded 8600 gt. A 9800 gt is also just a re-branded 880 GT, so that's a no go as well.
