I have bought a The Witcher 2: Enchanced Edition copy on Steam recently, but I have decided to try GOG and I'm liking what I might become. I was wondering if someone could give me their GOG copy of the Witcher 2 and I'll give you my Steam copy. Trade for Trade. Thank you.
If you have a Steam copy, you can redeem a backup copy on GOG. The same goes for if you also have The Witcher. You just have to look for the product key on Steam.

I can't post links, but it's at gog.com / witcher / backup

And it's the same as buying it on GOG? Do I get the same extras, achievements, etc._

You get the same GOG version you would have if you bought Witcher 2 on GOG with all the extras and stuff.

OK I just can't find my Witcher 2 Steam CD Key. There is no option for that. How do I find it? I still have the e-mail receipt, if it matters.

With the e-mail receipt you could, theoretically, by contacting GOG Support, sort it out with them and prove to them you have, in fact, rightfully purchased a Witcher 2 Steam copy, and they'll end up backing up your game. People have done it before, so, yeah, it's possible.

Alright. Thank you very much.

Are you looking at your Steam library in Detail view? The CD key doesn't show up in grid view or list view. (at least that's how it is with other games including The Witcher 1, I don't actually have The Witcher 2 on Steam so I can't say for sure about that one)
Just click with the right mouse button on your witcher 2. There must be an option called "show product key".
