So i've read the fixes and have tried them over and over and i appear to keep downloading the same corrupt files, very annoying. i've got the retail boxed game and it does the auto update and then fails to install, same error as most people are getting...pack0.dzip etc.

Anyone know if the developer is trying to fix this? Can't they just remove the corrupt files and replace them or does anyone know another website that is uploading the files which aren't corrupt? it's so frustrating to buy a game and then find you can't play it at no fault of your own. It's all well and good releasing a 10GB + patch but seriously think about testing it before releasing it to the world. i've also read a comment by the developer that the problem isn't wide spread, are they in denial?

Anyone know if i download the full game from GOG whether or not it downloads with the non-corrupt files?

I had the same issue, but the suggested fix (DLing only a couple of the files again) worked for me.

Anyway, yes, the GOG version is good to go.
