Please can we have the mousewheel cycle through targets on screen. It would have two functions:

Firstly, the obvious use in combat. If you use the lock on target, the mousewheel will scroll through the other enemies. Not sure on the best way to decide on next and previous, maybe down to the target closest to the current target and towards Geralt. Up would be further away from the target, until there's nobody available at which point it'll wrap to the nearest. If that makes sense.

Secondly. It'll cycle through nearby items, no more need to shift position awkwardly to try and pick the right container, or to loot a corpse near other containers and sometimes never being able to find focus.

I'd actually find the second one the most useful.


I don't use pads, but maybe the shoulder buttons could be the equivalent?

I would say these are sensible suggestions. Relying on auto-targetting to choose your opponent can be a bit finicky right now.

If this was implemented, an option to enable target focus by default would be nice, too.
