For me it's still almost unplayable, the game crashes frequently, when being saved.

I tried lowering settings, setting the 3GB switch, stopping all programs in the background, deinstalling antivir, trying several nvidia drivers (including the latest beta driver), adjusting sound acceleration, reinstalling TW2, ...
I never experienced any performance problems, though. When crashing, the graphic gets distortet and/or the sound is looping. When only the distortion occurs, the game is unresponsive, the PC not. But if you exit the game via taskmanager, the distortion is transported to other porgrams (ie. firefox), the desktop itself looks normal, however.

It seems that patch 1.3. broken casting signs for me. I am almost unable to cast sign during the fight. I have to stop the fight, hit 'Q' two or three and even than Geralt cast selected sign.

Does anybody managed how to enter character detailed statistics directly from game without going trough ability skills tree screen?

scampywiak: you can press space to loot everything, although I can no longer press esc button to exit menus since patch 1.3, I now have to use the mouse...wtf.
This is a side effect of having an Interface Mod running after Patch 1.3. Make sure to remove the Mod files. Hope fully, some of these great Mods will be updated to work properly with 1.3...

I contacted TW2-support frequently, since May, 20th, they tried to help, but nothing worked so far!
A hotfix would be appreciated!
I just noticed something. With certain resolutions the hud element are crammed toward the center of the screen, instead of being tucked away on the corners like they were in TW1. What is up with that? Its odd to see so much wasted space outside the of them, as if they were geared for a smaller screen. Any devs know about this?

I didn't notice this. I'm using 1920x1200 resolution. Only potions and oil counters appears to be too far from upper edge of the screen.

That's the all aspect ratio resolutions support fix that CDP included in patch 1.3: http://img221.imageshack.us/img221/2149/541213fixvs.jpg

It's the same mode used for Witcher 1 but there are still a lot of issues ( press Show more on Baal_CZ: http://en.thewitcher.com/community/entry/71#comment-267559296 )
