Patch 1.3 did certain progress in game quality and increased playability, but there is still a few thing that I think, needs to improve. I'm looking forward to Patch 1.4 od 1.3.1 with hope.

1) Drinking of potions (elixirs) takes lot of time and is holding. Lot of confirmations, fade-out/ins and every time video of Geralt drinking potion and throwing empty flacon away. This repeats again.

2) When in dialog with some craftsman, tradesman or poker player I have to quit dialog and talk to him/her again to choose another action. Missing shortcuts in dialog to move from buy/sell dialog to craft and also option to play another poker game when I lost the current one.

3) Also missing shortcuts to move between Character screen, Inventory screen, Journal Screen and Map. Every time have to return to live game and than pres requested screen key. 'C', 'M', 'I', 'J' keys do nothing when in some screen.

4) Books in shop and in Inventory, are not marked as read/unread.

5) Missing birds in the air and other animal on the ground like dogs, cats, pigs, ducks, fowls (seen in TW1).

6) When in Shopping/Crafting screen, there is no way how to compare attributes of your currently equipped weapon/armor with that you are deciding to buy/craft.

Does anybody else has same point of view at this?
All these issues have been designed as intended and opinions on them are subjective, like any other detail in the game... :P

Seriously though, I want the following:

1. To know the number of each item in my possession when I pull up the quick menu.
2. Fix the fuckin bomb throwing bug, Jesus Christ how is this not a priority?
3. Fix. The. Lag. It mars an otherwise wonderful combat system. Geralt doesn't have to stand around and pick his nose in between rolls. He shouldn't have to stop for a full two seconds before he can scan. This is ridiculous.
Full mouse-wheel support and right-click (or another button) to escape panels/menus rather than moving the cursor and clicking esc.

When looting, pressing a button to take everything rather than using the cursor which is far slower.

I liked the way Fallout does it where you press A to take everything, or E to cancel.

And as you stated, being able to change panels seamlessly so you can go from one to the next without having to close it first.

Panels and menus could do with a little tiding up and with more info, and being able to compare trader's item stats with your loot's stats.
you can press space to loot everything, although I can no longer press esc button to exit menus since patch 1.3, I now have to use the mouse...wtf.

You can press space?

Strange, that doesn't work for me.
For me, button presses still aren't always responding the first time I press them. It's especially noticeable in combat or when trying to put my swords away after combat. I wonder if it hasn't been fixed yet because it's so deeply engrained into the coding of the engine that fixing it with a patch would be too problematic.
I totally agree with stat comparisons, OP. I've played enough RPGs in my life to know that this is a modern necessity. I can't tell you how many hours of Torchlight, Diablo II, Titan Quest and even Shadowflare I've spent comparing stats. This is especially true when it comes to shop items. It was forgivable back in my NES Dragon Quest/Warrior days to have to mentally note the differences in shops, but I'll be darned if I can't do it in a modern PC game.
I never tried to hit SpaceBar when looting. I'll check it in the evening. But game control is still too 'console like.' Also it would be great if the mouse wheel could be finally used for some control purpose.

Funny that it doesn't work well with the controller, either. It is almost useless in menus. Also try and scroll to 500 orens without the mouse, you could grow your own coffee, if you didn't have to keep pressing the stick. But the DELETE key, which is supposed to switch between controller and MKB, according to the manual, is still not working. Well, at least they finally got the left stick working in the main menu. I wonder how they will fix the controls before the console version.

Combat and jerky movement is still not fixed.
That, to me, is the gashing wound that needs more than a band aid.

Comparison between store and inventory items, how could they forget that? And how can Antihero make a mod that fixes the missing inventory features like numbers and marked books etc., but CDPR can not?

My feeling of the game gui is that it is switched to some 'Minimal mode'. Still looking for some 'Advanced mode' button in my mind. It's lacks details, statistics, comparisons etc.
Combat log is crappy, appears when you're busy fighting, stays up for a couple seconds, totally unreadable because of small fonts and font color not contrasting with background, then goes away, not even the option to pause remaining in game screen to try to read it.
I bring up the radial menu when I need to read the log for testing purposes or something. But I really preferred the tactical pause in the first witcher game, because I hardly ever change the sign I have "on" during a fight, no time for that. So...

+1 for tactical pause!

I agree. Why can't it be accessed in the character menu? Thats how other RPG's have done it.
I have tried hit SpaceBar during looting, and it really works - takes everything,
Has anyone heard if CDP as aknowledged the weird mouse controls finally?
