Can someone explain how the QTE on the bridge is supposed to work?
The one with the dragon doing a belly flop.
I wanna play my danged game ffs!

And p[lease, dear god, someone tell em why the savepoint is just BEFORE the cutscene?
I've died and seen the cutscene too many times.

So, I have cut my resolution down to 640x480, to make sure it's not a lag issue. I turned the settings to easy, and unchecked the difficult QTE checkmark.

The dragon consistently kills me. I never see a signal for when to click for a dodge.
I've tried clicking as the dragon raises it's arm, as the dragon starts swinging it's arm, and just before the dragon's arm connects.
Die, die, die.
And that's only when the snout doesn't manage to touch me.
How am I supposed to get past this point?
qte is RMB, just spam click it as you run across the whole bridge
turn of hard QTE in options and just hold down the "S" key when it starts until the sequence is over. At least that worked for me...
I went into options and saw something called "Difficult QTE" on by default. I hadn't even started the game and shut that shit right off.

QTEs are shit
I have exactly the same problem. If you come up with answer, please share!

QTE would be a problem if your pc can't play the game smoothly. you only have 1 second to react, any little lag will fail the QTE.
Exactly. QTE's are just evil. Even when implemented right.

This particular QTE seems totally botched: in 20 or so re-runs I've NEVER seen the prompt symbol on screen. Then, turning off "difficult QTE's" did not help either (10 tries). The (English) manual devotes whole whopping 4 lines to QTE's, never mentioning the S-key trick (tkanks to the poster who wrote about it!) - this is what I'm going to try next.

Anyway, going 30 times through a sequence when the only thing you can do is to die is not really my idea of fun. Regardless of the difficulty setting the player should always have a chance. A major piss-off.
Ok, got it done in the end, thanks to you guys. If it may help others, what work for me actually was hitting the S key like nuts instead of keeping it pressed!
