Hi this is my second time playing the game. I played the game when it was out so I forgot most of the basics. I am in Flotsam and have sold all of my Diagrams and Formulas, turned out that without those I can't craft nor make any potions! I thought these work like books where you read it once you remember the content, i.e. how to make potions/weapons/armos. The game never really tell you properly whether you should KEEP those or you learned it once and can delete them off.

Not so. Now I need to re-buy all of those monstrously expensive diagrams and formulas. I currently have about 1.9k Orens, and want to save for Dark Mode set. Having to buy all of those stuff again will rob me empty. Any help tips or tricks on how to get money fast?

I tried a few mods that reduces prices of formulas but non seems work with the EE.

Thanks!
You can arm wrestle the guys at Flotsam's Inn, the biggest one will give you 30 oren each time. Time consuming and boring, but easy. If you haven't done the nekker contract, roam at their nests, kill a few dozens and sell their teeth and hearts. You can hunt nekkers even with the nests destroyed, but they respawn in fewer numbers.

Thanks both will be useful, but this does hurt gonna take few hours from the game, and I play Dark Mode, the warrior necker can 1 hit kill me from the back... This will be fun...
Use a mod to reduce the game's crafting formula/diagram prices - you can find one on the Witcher Nexus.

Honestly, Dark Mode is really shitty. The gear is extremely expensive to make and you simply don't get enough money to play the game comfortably and still pick it up - you have to grind for hours playing those minigames just to make up the difference (unless of course you want to entirely ignore spending money on anything else). Not to mention that the difficulty is of the "unfair and poorly balanced" variety, i.e. you will die in one or two hits unless you pump up your vitality like crazy and abuse the hell out of Quen and roll around like a maniac. Just save yourself the trouble, it's not worth it - it feels like they didn't even bother playtesting the mode or consider how pointlessly expensive the special gear is in relation to the rest of the game's economy.
