rustypup: No. They didn't. The automailer was the quickest resolution to the DLC download issue for those customers who purchased the game with a promissory note/coupon/pack which indicated inclusion of the DLC.
Everything else is just bending over backwards to justify piracy. There is no justification. Use the auto-mailers whilst not having purchased one of the DLC deals, you're piratical scum.
This is hardly complicated. Admit it and move on.
O, stop it. Everything else is just bending over backwards to justify piracy. There is no justification. Use the auto-mailers whilst not having purchased one of the DLC deals, you're piratical scum.

If they were really concerned that only the given pre-orders should still only have access to certain DLCs, they would not have automated it. And even though it is a launcher work around, and therefore requires no key, they could have still set something up for key requirement.
They also could have added, "Hey, we know you could just get all these, but we are asking you not too." But they didn't do that.
Every version of the game is DRM free now. All pre-orders have been fullfilled. The game has been out for more than a week. Get off your high-horse.
If you have a problem with it, don't do it.
P.S. I really like having the Herbalist gloves most of all!!!!
