It looks like the most recent patch broke my copy of TW2. I can't even start the game any more, with a dialog box throwing script compilation errors. It looks like this same error happened to people using the Steam version, though I'm running the GOG version.

Is there any fix for this? I'd hate to have to go through the slog of uninstalling it, redownloading it, and reinstalling it to see if it fixes the problem.

Some brave souls on the official forum found a solution for this. But so far there is no official fix.

Any update on if this has got an official fix yet? I'm kinda waiting on the fix before I re-download it.
Since I bought TW2 in Jun 2014, I cannot play due to the error at the "Launch game". Can someone help?

Script compilation error

There were errors compiling scripts. Unable to run game.
Maybe some selected user packages are incompatible?

The problem got solved!
Thank you for the quick reply!

As reference for who come later;
- The file cannot be downloaded via IE11 but via Chrome 36.
- Just replace CookedPC/base_scripts.dzip with the downloaded one (though i don't know what version i have).
It works, thank you!
(My system is Windows 10 x64, AMD. Game is latest version.)
