I am puzzled. But maybe somebody has a simple answer.
I got through the Kingslayer fight ok by avoidance. I tried the Golden Oriole route. With Raven's armor I was at 75% to his worst stuff. I didn't notice any difference between a fireball with Oriole and without.
Fighting the dragon (I didn't look at the exact number) I know fire resist was higher and I definitely shrugged it off. Worked as I would expect.
20-25% of Kinglsayer's fury was enough to kill me?
(Side note to anyone reading this looking for tips: Quen removes nasty effects.)
