Why can't I assign arrow keys to moving Gerald forward/back/left/right. When I tried this with the configuration the app won't let me assign the arrow keys... I don't like using WASD keys in my games...I like to do movement with arrow keys.

Have you tried configuring the user.ini file directly?

the user.ini actually doesn't have keyboard config info in the file, looks like it's in Input_QWERTY.ini file but I'm not sure yet how to modify it.

From the Launcher, choose Video and Language, you can reassign your keys on the menu that pops up.

The user.ini file will if you have made any keybind changes via the Launcher. And, for those who are having keybinding issues, I just assume they've already tried to make changes via the launcher.

Otherwise, if you've made no keybinding changes at all via the launcher, you have to edit the ini file named after the keyboard setup as shown in your Launcher options.

To do what the OP wants, he needs to edit those files directly, as he's correct in that the basic Launcher options do not allow those specific keys to be changed.

Yes, far more complicated than it should be, but it is possible. For the OP who thinks it's not.
