are we getting a patch to address the rediculas qte in kayran boss battle

I do not know when, but it is relatively short QTE.

If you need a guide of sorts... After taking off the 3rd tentacle, wait for him to do a sweep, time will slow for a sec. Press right click to get on his tentacle. Click left mouse button REPEATEDLY (for about 4 secs). When you finish stabbing him, he will swing you towards the ground, time will slow, press space. Done.

in all honesty mate ive tryed the qte for 2 days and contacted cdproject to patch as even when bars full it just continues ps even tryed two characters

Have you tried it on easy. I've heard there's no QTE to speak of in that fight on easy, other than pressing your left mouse button when on the tentacle, which sounds impossible to fail at.

ive even dissabled qte which is apparently compulsory no mater what i do to the qte bar it does topple the bridge its got to be a glitch if i thout it was down to my gaming proess i wouldnt mind

I'm not sure what the problem is. It's supposed to topple it. That's how you run up it and stab the **** out of it....

I never failed any QTEs, so not really sure what happens if you were to fail it in that fight, but it sounds like you aren't failing it and simply are lost as to what to do after? Or am I reading your post wrong?

no i have to keep replaying the tentacle ride it throws me and then i do it all again its great if u like tentacles

If you don't mind I could get your save file and do it for you and then give you the saves back. I know it is not ideal, but at least you can move on.

In a general sense, I wonder if there's a market for a service where people send you their save file to get past a point in a video game.

I'm betting with the right marketing, there is. ;p The MMO gold buying/selling industry is a multi million/billion dollar industry. It wouldn't be a stretch to think that culture of paying for advancement could easily be applied to single player games as well! ;)

In the OP's case, it sounds like he's bugged if the tentacle is never ending. Unless....anyone knows what happens if you fail to click your left mouse button enough while riding the tentacle? Is it possible he's simply not clicking it enough?

On the original forums for the witcher, save games were passed to people who would help w/o asking for anything. Great community on there. Hope it returns soon!!!
